I joined the PCg in Dec.1995 and withdrew in Sept.2000. I left the
PCg because I could not buy the LIE that Flurry was "that Prophet"
mentioned in John 1:21. There are too many Scriptures that PROVE
that none other than JESUS CHRIST is THAT PROPHET. (John 6:14,
John 7:40, Acts 3:22-26 just to name a few) I called our local
minister and told him in no uncertain terms that we (my wife and I)
were withdrawing from the PCg. The very next Sabbath it was announced
that we were "suspended". That was a bald face lie. Besides claiming
to be "that Prophet" Flurry claims at least 16 titles. Also he said
that they must...."magnify my office--which is really God's office."
He is a blasphemer and a LIAR.

Gerald R. Flurry, the founder and leader of the
Philadelphia Church of God (PCG), in his book called
Malachi's Message, which he now insists is the
"little book" mentioned in Revelation 10:2-4, tried to make
it sound like it was Joseph W. Tkach, Sr. who
"...exalteth himself above all that is
called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth
in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God"
(II Thessalonians 2:1-4, KJV). Gerald often seems to accuse
others of the sort of behavior that he himself is guilty of.
If there is any "man of sin" among the Worldwide Church of
God (WCG) and its splinter groups, Gerald might
be the man.

Thanks for having a web site that tells it like it is in regards to
other sites such as "the painful truth". It is evident that when
people leave the truth they can't say enough bad about it.

Some of the letters and articles posted at The
Painful Truth Web site are from people who whine about
the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) not allowing
them to observe Halloween in the past. Others now
express shock at some of the stories in the Bible, and
say they never knew about them. Apparently, they went
to the WCG but never even read the Bible. Some writers brag
about smoking, getting drunk, fornicating, undressing the
little neighbor girl, being homosexual, etc. Sometimes they
seem to be worse than the people they criticize.

Great site. Tells it like it is. Very refreshing after seeing some
similar sites. Thanks for hours of hard work.

Gerald Flurry and PCG
This is a bad organization. My daughter's MIL is in PCG and has cut off contacting 2 of
her 3 children because they had been baptized into WCG though not attending anymore. The
one that is not shunned told her mom not to drink the Kool Ade. They all know that momma
is going to flee when the great profit--intentional spelling--Flurry says it is time.
This cult is mind controlling. I can think of no other reason for an otherwise sane woman
to do such a hideous thing.
I have 3 questions for any in PCG who have read this (and they have to be out there.)
1. Who created and ordained the family?
2. Who is trying to destroy it?
3. Who are you following?
HINT: the answer to 1 and 2 are not the same.......

Gerald R. Flurry, the founder and leader of the Philadelphia Church of God (PCG),
is systematically, step by step, cutting off any connection his PCG followers may have with any
source of sanity. In installments, Gerald has forbidden them to read any literature that
he does not approve of, forbidden them to go on the Internet, and now forbidden them to associate
with any friends, or even family members, who were baptized in the Worldwide Church of God
(WCG) but did not join his PCG cult.
